Last Saturday it was really a shame to see Mike (Badman) Eman and his crooked party in St. Maarten street. The AVP party received a minimum support from San Nicolas. A total flop as many other attempts since the green parasites are in opposition since November of 2017. The amount of consultants they have on payroll to brainwash the humble citizens of the area, but everybody is waking up to the reality the previous government has left us in.

When Mr. Eman got elected in 2009 he had 970 Million florins to start governing and a Country with good standings in the financial world with a national debt of around 42% to Gross Domestic Product contrary to now in 2017 the current Prime Minister Mrs. Evelyn Wever Croes got a totally indebted Country of around 105% Debt-to-GDP including the Private Public Partnerships. In only the first term Badman doubled our national debt, which no other government did in the last 27 years of our Autonomous status within the Dutch Kingdom. This wasn’t enough, he left all state companies bleeding and he even silenced our Parliament, Central Bank and other State Departments. The damage will take till 2040 to get back to sound public finances with a GDP growth of 3% which is almost impossible looking at the current developments in the region.

The current administration, a coalition between MEP/POR/RED, has 4 years to prove to the Aruban people that all though we have inherited a total mess we are doing our best to govern for the many and not a few. Badman left 7000 hotel rooms approved before leaving office and the majority of them in the same area of Aruba which is already saturated with development. San Nicolas received once again the bitter end of the stick. With a mega all inclusive hotel why Mike de Meza couldn’t bring a five star hotel to San Nicolas with his 2000 votes, obviously he doesn’t care about the economic development of San Nicolas. I ask you the citizens of his area for your political support to improve the social economic challenges we are facing. Together we can achieve more inclusiveness, participation and prosperity for all.
