For many weeks the Freewinds Volunteer Ministers have been sanitizing the areas of the island with the highest public traffic providing a sense of safety to the community, including those who work day and night to keep Aruba safe while the island battles the last of the Covid-19
No matter what the threat is, the police are expected to be on duty to protect the citizens of Aruba. While others can stay home to stay safe the police must be out on the front lines regardless of the situation.
This is why the Volunteer Ministers of the Freewinds are lending a hand to the police to keep them safe and on the job by carrying out sanitization of police
Stations along with providing information on who to stay safe from illness.
With the workplace being one of the main areas where illness can be spread it is important to take extra precautions at the job. Wearing masks, social distancing and washing hands are key, but keeping offices regularly disinfected is vitally important in preventing sickness. Using the most effective disinfecting agent there is, Decon 7 (Decontamination 7), the Freewinds Volunteer Minsters have been sanitizing police stations and police vehicles across the island during the pandemic.
Mr. Errol Zebeda, Head of Operational Management, is very thankful for the work the Freewinds Volunteer Ministers are doing not only for the police corps, but the entire island as well. He said, “Thank you very much for the work you are doing. The videos are excellent. We can use this information. I will pass it along”
All of these activities are being carried out in Aruba as one ounce of prevention is worth a ton of cure.
